मराठीचं प्रदूषण Pollution Of language Is Techno-remediation Is The Answer? 'Wait, what? Pollution of language? What idiocy is this? And what does an environmental sciences guy knows about language when he himself is writing this very own article in English?' Listen, yes, I know I'm not a linguist & no way am I going to act like one. Whatever I will type now is my own take on the current state of Marathi or we can say all the other Indic languages. But my view is mostly confined to Maharashtra & the status of Marathi language right now. If you find any mistakes or wrong claims feel free to comment.  Well, how can I say a certain language or Marathi language is polluted? To understand this, let's see the common definition of pollution being taught in schools. 'Pollution is something that contaminates the environment. Once contaminated, the subject is now polluted.'  ' The presence in or introduction into the environment of

Book Store Review | Famous Book Shop

Book Store Review Famous Book Shop Might be holding the treasure you were looking for!!! Fellow readers, most of us have a habit of keeping hard copies of books we love as souvenirs. But if you are hunting a book which is either rare, out of print or banned in our country, you know how the hunt always ends. Finding all these types of books or even the first original prints is very hard if you don't know where to look for. Luckily I stumbled upon an OLX advert & found a new book shop to get many rare, first edition, or limited edition books as well as comic books. Review: Jamtara - Sabka Number Ayega      Guys, a few days ago I talked about Netflix India's first release of this year & for most of the part it was a major disappointment to everyone, which was meant to happen when you have likes of KJ involved. Then after a few days, this new series called 'Jamtara' having new faces in banner started appearing in my feed & anything having new faces (obviously of non-nepo kids) & rural setting catches my eye. So I decided to give it a watch & it was a pleasant watch from start to finish. I'll talk about what I liked, what I did not like about this series as well as whether you should invest your time in it or not.        Jamtara- Sabka Number Ayega: ''A group of small-town young men run a lucrative phishing operation until a corrupt politician wants in on their scheme -- and a cop wants to fight it.''                                                                          ~ Netf

Ghost Stories Review

Image
Ghost Stories Review I just finished watching the Netflix Exclusive Ghost Stories & I have a few things to say about it.  Ghost Stories      Ghost Stories  is a movie made by joining four distinct stories directed by four different directors. These distinct stories only work as separate short films containing scare elements because these four stories don't have any connection with each other. One another thing that I want to clarify is that two of these two don't even have any ghosts in it so why Ghost Stories? We will do a separate review for each separate story. 1 . Zoya Akhtar       The first story from the four is directed by Zoya Akhtar. I was excited to see where do Zoya Akhtar & Anurag Kashyap can take the genre. And in her case, I wasn't disappointed, at least in the direction department. She has created a very isolated environment within the house where the story takes place & you can really feel that it's raining outsi
