Jaya: An Illustrated Retelling of Mahabharata || Book Review Spoiler: You HAVE to read this book!!! Mahabharata. Something by which I have been fascinated with for the entirety of my life.  Our Indian parenting has made sure that we all are aware of its existence if not well versed with the epic. The generation of our parents and our grandparents witnessed the great epic in the serialized form so they have better knowledge than us when it comes to the epic. My parents and aunts and uncles also have read Yayati and later Mrutyunjay while growing up. 

|| Book Review || Olympus by Devdutt Pattanaik When it comes to Indian readers and mythology, people are crazy over either Devdutt Pattanaik's illustrated books or Amish Tripathi's Shiva trilogy. I never read any of these two author's work so I couldn't share my opinions on them until recently I picked up Devdutt Pattnaik's Olympus. I'm also planning to read his take on Mahabharta in 'Jaya', which was suggested to me by many.  For today, I will be talking about just the Olympus. What the book is about? The book takes its name from Mount Olympus, the home of Greek gods. Greek Mythology is as rich and varied as the Indian mythology.
